Full moon above the snowy Alps

The photo is a full moon above the snowy Alps seen from the hotel when traveling in Innsbruck, Austria.

I left to Europe with only the plane ticket with depressed mind.
After wandering around the Europe about month, I arrived this old city. The city was so calm and peaceful, except the tourist group at daytime. I stayed about week with do nothing except reading books, walking the old town.

When looking at the picture Beethoven's Piano sonata No. 14 with a subtitle "Moonlight" comes to mind.
The name "Moonlight Sonata" comes from remarks made by the German music critic and poet Ludwig Rellstab. In 1832, five years after Beethoven's death, Rellstab likened the effect of the first movement to that of moonlight shining upon Lake Lucerne. Within ten years, the name "Moonlight Sonata" ("Mondscheinsonate" in German) was being used in German and English publications. Later in the nineteenth century, the sonata was universally known by that name.

Daniel Barenboim played this piano sonata at 1966.
